Does Archey Creek have any surprise falls or obstacles from Clinton to Greers Ferry Lake?
How do I check the water level and what level is adequate for the Archey?
Many thanks,

Re: Archey Creek
Should not be any surprises in that stretch of the river based on Google except for all flat water unless the lake level is WAY low! Which also will determine how much of that is river v. lake.
As for determining levels, the OWP page uses the Big Piney as a reference but you might use the gauge on the SFLR as a reference as well in addition to rainfall for that particular watershed.

Hope this helps. Let us know what you find if you decide to paddle it. I've looked at that for purposes of fishing.
