River Valley Request

River Valley Chapter is needing to rent a trackhoe to complete an access to the Arkansas River for paddling purposes. Further we need an operator of said equipment. We will also need a load of gravel. Next is signage (we are wide open to ideas on this issue). We are looking to cut our cost as much as possible, so I'm appealing to our paddling community for input on who you know that we can use to benefit them as well as help us out. Also don't want to have anyone say we didn't ask them and get upset with us, sooooo WE ARE ASKING! We have some funds (donations are being accepted) and are ready to pull the trigger on the dirt and gravel work. The signage may take a little longer for design and funding! The project is being called Powers' Point. It is our hope that this will serve as a foundation for a water trail.
