13th Annual Central Chapter Membership Appreciation BBQ picnic (and gear swap), Tuesday April 28, Alsopp Park pavillion. BBQ by Cross Eyed Pig (all the fixin's) and good times. Bring a dessert if you like, your preferred beverage, and any gear you might be willing to part with for the right price or somebody else's gear that you want/need.
We will eat around 6, not before, around. Always a good time. Great opportunity for new members looking at Whitewater or River Schools to meet the paddlin' peeps.

If Accuweather finally gets a forecast right, our spring BBQ picnic will have about the same weather as the fall Dutch Oven cookout. Don't let some clouds and a little rain keep you at home. We will build a big ol' fire, eat some great BBQ, meet old and new paddling friends, and share some tall tales. See you there

Can't wait! Tim and Cyndy, thank you for coming up with this great idea (and the DO event in the fall) and executing it so well over the last few years. It makes work for you guys, but draws new people in and generates interest from oldtimers as well.
