Ricky spoke with the C.O.E this morning and they are really excited about this wave and us surfing it! believe it or not! They gave ricky a schedule of what to look for ie, levels, when they will open the gates, how many gates will be open how much it is releasing, etc. He is going to go to the main discussion that i posted yesterday and edit it. he will be putting the link to check the levels and posting new information about the wave. We did it! In one week! This is our new surf spot! Please come check it out. he will also be posting directions so be on the look out this morning. it will be posted asap! thanks for your support. we will be out there all day saturday and all day sunday so please come!

Sweet,
Good going guys, I wish I could make it this weekend. Keep us posted on how it goes. Maybe this could be the groundwork we need to get some other spots open and going.

YES I JUST POSTED A QUICK NOTE TO LET EVERYONE KNOW. THE CORPS WILL BE LEAVING IT OPEN ESPECIALLY FOR US SURFERS SO THAT WE CAN GET A COUPLE OF DAYS OF GOOD SURF. IT IS AT A GOOD LEVEL RIGHT NOW AND IT WILL NOT CHANGE UNTIL MONDAY. IF IT RAINS MONDAY THEY WILL KEEP THE GATES OPEN THEN TOO.

Fish, the directions are on the "Wister Wave! Another Big Wave in Oklahoma" thread, also by Michelle Ashford.
Went over there today, less than 1 hour drive from Van Buren.
Really fast class III wave, hard to stay on at todays level, but a real hoot with lots of potential!
I bet with a few more cfs would be awesome!
Everybody that can should hit it sunday and check it out!

Somebody write this one up and submit it via the OWP's new stream form and I'll get the info added ASAP. Looks like a great wave!

The gauge info. you've already figured out for now, may have to be revised in the future.
