I'm for sure going to paddle something in the area Saturday & will watch the Board for particulars.

From what I looked at it should still be above 4ft tomorrow (4.16 @ 8:45 Saturday), if it follows same trend as last week. Nice lower section float on a Saturday.

I would LOVE to run the lower Little Mo. Have done the upper 3 times, but would really like to see the lower. I'll watch the board.

Minna,
The lower is the dam release area you saw. The upper is rain dependent, where Albert Pike is.

There's some confusion about stretches on the Little Missouri. There are 3 separate sections...

Upper Little Missouri is from Albert Pike to Hwy 84 bridge and has several class III rapids.

Lower Little Missouri is from Hwy 84 bridge down to FS road 12000 is a class II run.

Both of these are rain dependant. You can do the lower section from Hwy 84 down to about 4 feet which is what Adam is hoping it will hold at through Saturday.

The Lower Lower Little Missouri is the dam release section below Narrows dam, below the lake. The first two sections are above the lake.

The pics Louiscov posted are from the Lower Section (from Hwy 84) that Adam is talking about doing on Saturday. Fun class II; pretty long pools.

Thanks for making sure we were all talking about the same stretch of river. I had also pm'ed some info.

I am counting the hours until Sat. morning for the lower Little Missouri (hwy 84 to FS Rd.) and am pumped about it. Hope the water stays OK.

I agree with Lifejacket that the section from 84 to road 12000 will be runnable Saturday morning. Let's see now, do I go to the close by but possibly cow poo stinky muddy Cadron and have big fun OR do I drive twice as far and paddle the hard to catch clean running rugged rocky big fun Little Mo? Maybe the Little Mo Saturday and the less muddy/stinky Cadron on Sunday?

I plan on being there tomorrow, I figure greg will be too. I haven't heard from him today, but he is probably not in from work. I am going to stay with my prediction of 4.1-4.2 for tomorrow around 9 am. It is dropping at the same rate as last week.
