Fish I wish you hadn't brought jello into this. I was perfectly unfazed and unoffended by this nonsense until the jello comment. I happen to like jello. I buy my jello at wal-mart. My soul can shake like jello, mostly running big water. I'm a purist so any jello with fruit in it is just 7/8 fruity to me. I have been known to stuff jello in the front of my kayak for extra foot cushioning. Now that I have moved back to an open boat I sit on a pad of jello to keep from getting saddle sore. And sometimes I talk to my jello when it isn't too hot and I haven't had too much to drink. I think bringing jello into this thread shows a complete lack of klass and a blatant disregard for gelatin lovers everywhere. Viva la Jiggle!!!

The Government day float is not a stage for comment on issues. It is more of a "team building" type thing, where we want to associate names with faces in a friendly environment while enjoying an outdoor activity together.

Many of our guests have nothing to do with Rockport or the Malvern City Park; many are among those you would call fo help if you discovered an illegal activity doing damage to your favorite stream. You won't be doing yourself, the streams, or the environment any favors by turning this into a day someone wants to forget.
