Wattensaw lantern post setting trip.

Post by fryingsquirrel » Sat Nov 08, 2014 9:07 am

I welded up a lantern post this week for the campsite on Wattensaw that Debbie and Mikki have put so much work into. It is ready to be set in concrete. To make the job easier, my boss is donating the use of a two man power auger. All we need now is a date and some volunteers. Chime in if you can help and we'll work out a date.

I can come down on a weekend. I don't have a john boat, but I can bring Quikcrete and a bucket.

I believe Cowper has the john boat aspect well covered. I just need to work out a date. The 22nd, 23rd, 6th and 7th all work for me. Another idea that has been tossed around is to camp overnight out there, those who wanted to could probably paddle out the same day as well. All we need is a warm-ish weekend and for deer season to have wound down.
