Looking at making a run up to the current river area. Good camp spots?
This will be like 2nd week of June. Weekdays. May need to get away from the river?

Circle B in Eminence is good during the week. Pulltite on Current looks nice, haven't camped there myself. Alley Springs on Jack's fork also looked nice when we were up there. Louis and Paul (jetlab67) can give you better info.

Disclosure: I've never camped anywhere on the Current other than gravel bars, but I always make it a point to stop and at least take a cursory look at established campgrounds on the way down. So, this advice is wort what you paid for it.
There are plenty of nice campgrounds. I assume you're looking for facilities and drive in sites. I'd suggest basing your decision on which section(s) you intend to float. If you plan to spend much time on the upper I'd suggest Pulltite. For the middle Round Spring, Two Rivers or Circle B would get the nod. They would also work for the lower, but Big Spring is down even farther and is worth checking out even if you don't camp there.
Now, if you prefer "road less travelled" types of places there are some of those too. Some still have a restroom and drive up sites but are just less developed.

For NPS developed campgrounds take a look at Alley Spring Campground just west of town located on the Jack's Fork. It's probably one of the nicest NPS sites on the Current after Big Springs in Van Buren. Two Rivers Campground at the confluence of Jacks Fork and Current is nice too. There are numerous private options as well. Like Deuce, I typically gravel bar camp.
If you have interest in the upper river say Tan Vat or Baptist down to Akers or Round Springs then a neat option is Montauk State Park where the river originates. Great campground, lodge, restaurant, cabins, etc. plus super good trout fishing in and below the park to at least Welch Spring.
Enjoy!
