Mr. Jim et al, If I'm not mistaken the shuttle for Saturday's down river float departs at 1:00. What would be the chances of moving that up to noon? If that would be a great inconvenience I understand, but there are usually some floaters who are involved in the Cook-Off, and it's tough for them to meet the 6:00 judging deadline. It's also a bit of a scramble for me to have everything set up by then. I know it's not possible to do everything, but the float is a highlight for lots of us. Thoughts?

In addition to the 1:00 float there will be a prequel. This one will better accomodate those who plan to participate in the cook-off as well as those who just want to spend a little more time afterward relaxing at the ledge or wherever our little hearts desire. Mr. Jim Krueger and I will be at the ledge at 11:00, so join us there if you want in. You can also find me earlier if you want to caravan or possibly consolidate.

Thanks Jeremy! Luke and I just thought we'd throw this earlier float suggestion out at the 'ninth hour' . There are always so many fun events at the Rendezvous to pack-in, we thought an extra , 'earlier' float departure might also be desirable. That way, we can have 'two waves of downriver folks' ambushing the playboaters at The Ledge'
For those interested, do visit with Luke on Friday, or Saturday morning if you would like to caravan down to The Ledge, or just meet us there if you know the way.
It's always a good idea to do some consolidating at the camp as is possible, but we will finish the consolidation of boats, and folks at The Ledge Boat Ramp, then head on to the put-in for a fun float!

Doggone it! Now I have to decide which downriver float I want to go on. Before it was easy now I actually have to make a decision. You people went and took away my no-brainer.

What Mr. Jim said. I think most people who want to will know where to find me, but for those who might not..........................I'll be in a VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!!!!! Just kidding. Blue Expedition with a Gracie Coop original design trailer attached. five01951eight63five. I just hope Friday's torrential rains don't adversely impact the float.

That's actually the only reason we did this.

I don't think I'll be able to head to much of Rendezvous, but hoping to join for one of the Saturday floats. Hard to justify NOT paddling with the forecasted weather what it is!
