Kings River Cleanup June 2nd
Posted: Tue May 22, 2012 9:53 am
A very nice member of the Kings River Watershed Partnership asked me to post this up here for them since they are not currently on the MB and are about to leave for vacation.
Here is the Kings River Cleanup info: (which sounds like a good time AND there might even be water to float on!)
There will be a lower Kings River Clean-up and after party on June
2nd. The site is off Hwy 143 N which is a couple miles west of
Berryville on Hwy. 62. There will be a sign marking the entrance to
Kings River Rapids, and if you cross the Grand View bridge, you've
gone too far. We're starting at 8 am. Bring a lunch and plan to stay
for the cook out and prizes afterwards. Contact Ray Warren 870
438-5049. Kayakers and canoers welcome.
