Got skunked awhile back when the gauge read 1.9 and the OWP pages say that is just .1 below optimum.
Today's sight reading of the old visual gauge (post on river left at takeout) read 3.5 approximately at 1:30 p.m. today. USGS gauge reading at 1:00 p.m. was 4.11.
Just something to keep in mind when you check levels on the creek.
