The second video is very inspiring. The preparation for the blast that took place yesterday was very extensive. I'd like to keep up with the deconstruction of the dam next spring and the rehabilitation of the canyon walls, followed by, someday, floating of a free river.

You're welcome. I was especially inspired by the Lady who owned a "lakehouse" and spoke of listening to it become a river.
Also capturing all those salmon downstream and taking them up above the lake to spawn, so the next generation would come there. The release from the transportation tank was awesome! Big salmon!

Same here. That lady is probably more representative of the folks who lived upstream of the dam than the ones they quoted in other articles protesting the decommissioning of the dam. That muddy, yuck mess is going to be very interesting to watch as the native surfaces come back.

I was thinking the same thing. Would that land be very fertile from fish dooky all those years?
