We're posting a float/camp to our hiking club website. We'll probably go on the Illinois over in Oklahoma.

My raft is going to the Curent with my buddy. I'm going wherever Mrs. Deuce tells me to.

Might sneak off somewhere with the canoe one day.

Maybe I should specify who is going where with some class III-V stuff. Remember I'm still new and I've only run:
The Tot
Richland
Illinois bayou
Snow creek
Rock Creek
Cadron
St. Francis
Big South Fork Cumberland

gannon_w,
Would be surprised if you found anything running in and around Arkansas rated much above a very very easy class 2 at the most.
Gonna have to wait for the fall winter spring rains or a gulf hurricane to get the good AR runs going or at least that is my guess.

Yep, Bulldog, that's what we've been doing and dreaming about the winter rains. Watts, OK from the Redneck Yacht Club down to the low water bridge is a good 8 miler. Until the rains, it's a different world. Casual floating with frequent swims and a campout with amenities on a gravel bar. Not better or worse, just different.

Dang it! If I don't get some paddling in I'm gonna have to start ruffing up some roadkill to vent my anger

...I know, I might ruin dinner for some but give me water now!

If you're going to red rocks then swing on over and run the royal gorge. Class 3 easy read and run!

Our Texas group will be swinging through Arkansas Thursday night on our way to the Ocoee. The upper Ocoee is supposed to run. There is room in my van if you want to go. We have no place to camp yet though-yikes!
