open boats in salida,co

i was pleasantly suprised to see lots of open boats in the parking area at the boat ramp in salida yesterday. turns out it is part of the aca open boat competition with down river racing as well as salomn racing.
brought back memories of boating with walter , crane, marcel, roger, debbie and the rest.
had to work most of yesterday, but will spend today spectating and looking for arkansas folks.
