EPIC weekend! Our first Buffalo trip. It was SO beautiful and way more challenging than we we're expecting. I can't wait to go back.

We camped out of kayaks and ran the rapids with all of our gear! Definitely needed a skirt. the waves kept my bilge pump busy. No carnage though.

Am i crazy for saying that this run at 4' is WAY more challenging than Byrds to Turner @ 3'????

I'm surprised that Byrds to Turner has it, considering the 1ft difference in water level. We were not expecting the Buff to be so "rough" @ 3.8' (LOVED it!!!) We've run Byrds to Turner @ 2.3, 2.5 and 2.8. Is there a BIG difference between 2.8 & 3' on that run? We want to run above Byrds, but we will probably try it at a relatively low level on our first run. We are running rec boats after all.

My thoughts are the Mulberry is at it's best at 3' up. It gets a little bit more pushy. I also like Ponca to Kyles too. I think it's all on the person running it though. Ponca to Kyles is very beautiful float and would be my perferred run.
