LINK TO DAVE CREEK RUN
Here's a link to video footage of a run down Dave Creek in Fairfield Bay that Jeff Gannon and I did from last Fall; the gradient varied from 180 down to 100 feet per mile:

Great looking creek - congrats on the first descent! Planning a write up for the OWP?

Cool looking creek, bet that first slide would be fun if it were cranked out.
Where did you put-in and take-out?

Re: LINK TO DAVE CREEK RUN
The OWP would be a good place to publish. This was actually the third outing on Dave Creek. Believe it or not, a couple of rec kayaks came along on the first run, though not from the top, without a problem. The trip made their day! Entertained me too!
We put-in about a hundred yards walk upstream past the end of Lafferty Lane in Fairfield Bay and paddled into Greers Ferry Lake. The take out is where Indian Hills Drive runs into the lake, about a half mile from the creek. You have to be there right after the rain since the drainage area is only about 1.5 square miles. When the Cadron was at 10 feet, we had just enough water to do the lower half of the creek.
I have published pictures of the dry creek bed in two online albums:

Great looking creek indeed Cap'n. I'd love to hit that one sometime. Schedule some rain for us in the near future, k.
