Flow Release Plans --

Due to the low level of Lake Ouachita flow releases have been reduced to the required minimum flow of just over 200 CFS from Remmel Dam only on weekdays. There may be a 4 hour release from Blakely and Carpenter dams every few days or so as needed to maintain the levels of lakes Hamilton and Catherine. On weekends and holidays flow releases of about 3600 CFS will occur from Noon to 3 PM to meet FERC requirements and to support Swiftwater rescue training downstream.

The Corps will be releasing about 2900 CFS from DeGray from about 2 to 6 PM daily.

Worse case scenario, Ouachita River watershed doesn't get any rain by September the tenth. What is the predicted flow rate for Rockport then?

No worries Dave - we have guaranteed 6-hour releases on Sat & Sun for Rendezvous.
