The temps. on Saturday may fall to a cool 95 degrees so I think we will again head back to The ledge about Noon to meet&shuttle on up, to the dam :) If any of you should care to join in, please do. Two gravel bar stops en route, with fine riparian entertainment if I can find my squirt gun like Richard's grandson had last weekend :)

If I am still in town I will round up some grandkids and be there with water gun in hand.

What kind of float is this? I have never been.

Is it a mostly flatwater float like the Kings?

Or is this a more active float for creekers?

It is flat until you get to the ledge and it is not bad we floated it last saturday with the club in rec boats

Jim - my sister, her 4 kids and I will be there. I have kayaks for the 3 boys and me, but need to round up a canoe for her and daughter.

Right now Clan Crawford plans on being there. Felicia missed SnT but is well and ready to float now. Jim, I think we have an extra squirt gun.

thanks, I have a small dog that rides with me in a canoe or sit on top kayak. So I am cautions about turbulent water. I have never been to this Ouachita area and would love to discover it, so anytime I see groups gathering with shuttles I take notice. But doubt I can make it over this saturday.

I'm glad to see all the interest! Renee, I have a 17' Bluehole I can bring if you like. also two paddles and two pfds if they don't have their own, just let me know.

Jim - that would be great! They don't have paddles for a canoe, but my dad is supposed to be trying to find some PFD's from his bass boat and my brother's ski boat. I have 2 extras for the boys so my dad was going to try to find some. If they can wear yours, that would be awesome! I will be sure to bring some beer for you as the "rent fee."

Renee, we'll look forward to seeing you all, I'll bring the canoe&gear. I have plenty of extra adult vests but just two kids vests I bought for my brothers boys when they were pretty little. See you all on Sat.

Jim - they are all older. We only would need 2 PFDs. The older kids are adult size and I have them covered. Thanks again for the canoe loaner :)

Yay! More kids! My sister's teenagers will be thrilled. She was concerned they might be bored hanging with the adults.

Jim, do you need me to stop in Benton and help transport canoe?
