How's summertime camping at the Cossatot?

Post by DMG » Tue Jul 27, 2010 9:44 pm

I'm looking to take a few days of Dave time enroute to a wedding in Fort Worth in a few weeks. How's the summertime camping/swimming/hiking at the Cossatot State Park Natural Area? Might spend a night at Nebo or Magazine, too. Any other cheap fun recommendations in that area? I have absolutely no fear of chiggers or ticks.

Thanks!

~Dave

I love camping in that area. Its nice all year round to me. Best place is to just walk around and find "the spot". I let the spot find me when I am pack camping. enjoy!

HUMID!
We are all afflicted with Cognitive Dissonance. The greater our religious, social, financial or political affiliation, the greater the affliction. We hear what we want to hear. We believe what we want to believe. Truth becomes irrelevant.
