Ill be there....also if you come, please bring a trashbag so we can clean the place up a little bit. Apparently the people that swim down there every day cant seem to pick up thier diry diapers, bottles, cigarette boxes, etc. It is a shame and sucks that someone has to pick up after the lazy rednecks that decide its cool to smash their bud light bottle on the pavement or by the river. It will only take an extra 15 minutes, but it will be well worth the time spent, and maybe someone will see our efforts and decide to pick up thier dirty diaper and put it in the trash next time.

I won't make it this week. I still have 6 weeks in the movement restricting arm brace and then 12 weeks of physical therapy. It's on after that. If you're wondering, tearing your tendon lose is not a good idea. It's great that the boaters are the stewards of the resource. I bet that most of the West Fork users will appreciate the help. Have fun. I'll see those who can make it at the chapter meeting Monday

Many props to you regardless, Justin! Thanks for being on the ball (no pun intended) and coming up with a boatball venue cleanup to help educate/inspire the other local users.

I think the event is currently underway despite(??), and your idea sparked it all.

Heck, I'll bet they clean it up just to give you a hard time for the coincidental tom sawyer-ish prank.

I could not make it today due to work demands although i really wanted too for the cleanup and some boatball. If not missing out for injury it has been work this season. Oh yeah, and for being LAME - which has only happened last week. :roll:

Had eight of us tonight for cleanup/boatball.

Not sure how much the trash pickup inspired/educated the locals & if we really made that big of dent in it (I could probably spend the rest of my days on this earth just picking up cigarette butts there).

Don't worry Justin & John I think I still have a trash bag for each of you to use at the next boatball left in my truck.

Fun game tonight. Heat kind of took a toll on the pace though.
