Little MO tomorrow or something down in that area.....if it

Post by reedo » Thu Jun 10, 2010 4:36 pm

So, the news was calling for something like 6 inches of rain down in the southwest. Anyone headed down that way if it does? I haven't ever done Lil' MO or Baker....anyone wanting to lead the way?

Don't be suprised if the put in at the campground is closed. News reports and another thread are reporting 6 fatalities overnight due to a flash flood. I've been there years ago after a flash flood and we saw vehicles in the creek and stranded campers and hikers while we were boating.

I wouldn't be suprised if the authorities didn't close off access until they have finished accounting for folks and recovering people and property.

Hope that's not the case but I would be prepared for it anyway based on the severity of this tragedy.
