My wife and I will be moving to Fort Smith in the near future. We have been members of Ozark Mountain Paddlers out of Springfield, MO for a few years. I have posted on ACC a few times and know some of the people of ACC and they have priviledge me with floating with them. My questions would be- Where are your meetings held? When? Who? What?

Welcome to Fort Smith! (soon) The River Valley Chapter typically meets every other month on the second Tuesday. Our regular meetings are typically held at the La Huerta restaurant on Garrison. We had a meeting in April and our next gathering will be a picnic on June 8th (I think) at Carol Ann Cross Park. Diane Cheshier, the president, posts event notices on this message board. Yes, Michele is right....picnic June 8th will be our next meeting. We usually alternate our meetings with events every other month. Surf and Turf in July to follow the June picnic. When you get into town, PM me your contact info or email me at RVpaddlers at gmail dot com

Thank you Mr Price it is always a welcome to hear from you. Move over buddy I have arrived.

June 8th would give us something to do that particular weekend if something else does not get in our way. I will have to look up where Garrison is since I am not at all familiar with Arkansas.

I did meet Dr Pearce (Hopefully correct spelling of the name) in Fort Smith the day my wife stopped by her new employment location. We had some discussions about the club and look forward.
