1st raft trip down the mighty mulberry with the 2yr old Sun.

Got to take the my 2 yr old girl down the mulberry for the 1st time in the raft. Man did she have fun. Holding arms up through the wave trains like she was riding a roller coaster. Got to the takeout and she did not want to leave.

Congrats, Panic! My family hit a milestone or 2 this weekend on the Mulberry as well, with my Wife making her first moderate water run down the upper in her kayak. I was also able to make some major improvements to my kayak technique, as well.

Fun day for sure. Just the second trip for dad oaring the raft of the river.

If you want them to like the river, get them on early. But be careful what you wish for! (speaking from personal experience)

So Dogpatch, did I make a big mistake taking our 3 and 5 year old grandkids in the Caption the other day. I haven't got the 1 and 2 year old out yet. Maybe you should tell the whole story.
