Throw rope was found hanging tangled in brush just off the river. I suppose if someone can name the brand/describe it, it could be returned to its rightful owner (no name written on bag), but based on the condition of the rope, I actually think the rope may have been out there for too long and needs to be retired from active duty. I thought I'd still post to try to let the owner know it was found, and if it's not claimed I plan to see if one of the SWR trainers would want the rope and bag for practice/training purposes (although bag is in good shape and could be reused with a new rope).
It was found upstream of that spot with the big block rock in the river, but could have traveled quite a way by the looks of it and where it was on the bank (probably at least 5 feet above today's level of 4 ft.)

I've heard that into every life a little of it must fall,
but you'll never catch me complaining about too much of that southern rain.
