Log on Snow Creek

There is a log (minus any branches) in the first rapid on the Snow Creek run of the IB. It is about halfway down and takes up most of 2/3 of the channel on river left. The right-hand route is easily picked out from the road overlooking it. It looks like one can sneak down on the extreme right if you commit early. Again, it's easily scouted before running. Level was just below 8.0' on the sight gauge at the take-out.
The log is teetering on the upside of a rock in the channel. Next big level should take it off so be on the alert after it is gone. No telling where it can end up in the narrow channels below where the creek turns to the left and then back straight in the next mile or so.
