Post by Half Ton » Thu Mar 25, 2010 6:53 am

Please come help in the Annual Cleanup of Lake Fayetteville.

A cleanup that is being sponsored partly by ACC.

Boat launching is free.....so is the food..... and so are the door prizes.

If you can't make the Scull Creek Cleanup on 4-13-10, but want to help cleanup a local waterway that you may use every so often......then bring it!

The NWA ACC cleanup for this saturday should be fun, and this Lake Fayetteville Watershed Partnership would really like some help keeping the Lake in good shape.

So if you don't have anything else going on, please come on out and help keep Lake Fayetteville in good shape, and then eat some free food, and win some door prizes and watch some kids be happy after winning a canoe club shirt.

Just over 140 people came out to help take care of Lake Fayetteville.

A couple of boards with nails in them came out, so that will help make it a litter more safe for those who have to wade into its waters to retrieve a frisbee golf disk at some point in the future...

There were about 15 different boaters and club members.

Some high school kids from Springdale ended up winning the "that's how I roll t-shirts" and were very happy about it.

It was a good cleanup overall.
