Any reports on the Cadron from those who went this week? Either from the new access to the 65 bridge or from the 65 bridge.

There is a tree down shortly above 65; at lower levels you just paddle under it, at higher levels you have to portage, but it is relatively easy to see before you get there.
Last week, there was a report of a tree below Hwy 65 forcing someone to leave their canoe and hike out, but I feel details of that report are missing. Unless they pinned on the tree, I can't figure why a "hike out" was the problem solution, vs. "we had to portage..."
Sorry all I had was second-hand information. Bottom line, just keep your eyes open and don't run anything blind.
