It's offical OKC is getting it's very own whitewater facility!!!! This is great news for us local folks who find it hard to get any consistent WW action.

OKC is growing to be a very friendly place for sport, especially extreme sports from pro-am swimming competitions, free world class skate park, host of WWA wakeboarding national finals, and now this. You must have a couple of X type councilmen to accomplish all that. Congrats.

Been down in Big Bend National Park on the Rio Grande
and
just got back and got on the message board to read this news.

Very very proud of what you folks have done for the sport and for Oklahoma City.

We will continue to work on our Tulsa Wave project and hopefully one day we can have rodeo events at both ends of the Turnpike.

Keep us posted and once again, man alive this is great news.

I am very proud of what we have allready acompished and we are just starting. MAPS has transformed this city so much, when you think of what Okc was like before the MAPS projects it is just incredible! Woohoo
