FOUND - Dry bag full of gear on the Buffalo (ALMOST RESOLVED

Post by Richard » Tue Nov 10, 2009 2:07 pm

Dry bag with sleeping bags, tent. clothes, boots, etc pulled from strainer downsteam of Mt Hersey on 11/7. The dry bag leaked and all has water damage but some may salvage.
contact whitewatercanoe@cox.net describe it to claim it.

I think it was an Academy or Wal-Mart brand. Large top loading roll down and buckle type.
We don't know how long it had been in the water but more than likely less than a week.
I don't know if it was closed properly.
It was caught in a strainer and may have had a small puncture.
I don't have it in my possession so I am not able to check.

Thanks, just curious as to what brand to get an indication of how good the dry bag was. Arthur gave me information as well.

Hope you guys can find the owner.
