SAT. Paddle

Post by Monsoon » Fri Oct 09, 2009 6:04 pm

A few of us are going to meet at Lee Cr. @ 11am on Saturday Morning. Run it and then hit Clear Cr. or Cedar Cr. Anyone interested?

Love it if you came. I'd say we could car pool, but I have to be in Fort Smith @ 7pm for momma's birthday.

I might be up for that, if you wouldn't mind a relative newbie joining you. I have been down Lee a few times, and think I'd be fine on that tomorrow. Cedar Creek and Clear Creek sound like a ton of fun, but I don't know if they would be too much for me. I guess I could always just make that decision after the run on Lee in the morning (and get y'all's opinion).

And Ryan, since we paddled the Middle Fork together a while ago, if you have any opinion on Clear or Cedar being too much for me, please speak up.

Monsoon, if you wouldn't mind a relative newbie tagging along, I think I'd love to join y'all tomorrow, at least for Lee Creek (and if you do mind, I definitely understand).

I don't know about Cedar or Clear creeks; I have never been down them. I guess it depends on the levels tomorrow.

Depending on the time, I may just do a few laps on Lee.

Clear and Cedar should be runnable.....They are class III @ optimal levels. But If the are running we'd like to see at least. If not, then I'm def. down for a few laps around Lee! We will play it by ear!

Meet at the put in. We will shuttle a vehicle to the take out which is only a minute away. Walking distance if worse comes to worse.

Had a great time today! Ran Lee twice. Did the rest of you make it to Clear Creek or Frog?

Yeah, I had a bunch of fun today. Wish I could have ran Lee again with you, Ryan, but between the project I wanted to get some work done on and just not really feeling it today, I figured I ought to head home. I had a blast with all of yall.

I, too, want to hear what the rest of yall ended up doing.

And Ryan, if there is any way you can send a link to the pictures you took today, that would be awesome.
