Renzedvous Washout?

Post by Owl » Thu Sep 17, 2009 6:23 am

I'm wondering if the high releases from Remmel Dam will continue throughout the weekend negating the use of Rockport for 'vous.

Anybody got any information on this?

Depending on the levels and the forcast, what chances are changing something to be paddled Sunday in a good paddle level elsewhere?

There were still places to surf last year during the hurricane. They were releasing at 11,000cfs.

Well you are right by Lake Catherine State park..and if it dumps on us like it did last year...I for one plan on running the falls at the lake again. Also, there is gulpha gorge and hot springs creek in hot springs.

Lots of goodies in spa town. =)

Tot, Little Mo and Caddo are not too far away. We ran from Remmel Dam to the ledge last year and there are a couple holes/waves at 11,000 cfs.
