The organization is called No Child Left Inside. If you are a teacher, then you know all about No Child Left Behind, I won't get on my soapbox about that, but this is very interesting and thought I'd pass it on. Another vid on the right titled Rethinking NCLB. It's pretty cool, does anyone know if anything like this is being done to educate kids about AR outdoors?

There are actually several. The most obvious are the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and 4-H programs. They are all good and provide outdoor experiences. Less known are programs offered by the Audubon Society and Arkansas Game and Fish. State and Federal parks have programs as well.

Virtually unknown is ACC member David Timby who established a 501(c) non profit corp to provide canoeing opportunities for kids who would not otherwise be able to afford to rent a canoe on the Buffalo.

Rodger Keesee and I start doing monthly Buffalo River overnight floats for families. The floats have been great but we have not had the family participation we had hoped for. Perhaps over time.
We are all afflicted with Cognitive Dissonance. The greater our religious, social, financial or political affiliation, the greater the affliction. We hear what we want to hear. We believe what we want to believe. Truth becomes irrelevant.
