Boatball

Post by jermdog » Tue May 19, 2009 6:36 pm

So with the new regime firmly in place, what's the boatball status?
We still playing tomorrow?
Who has the gear?
Did Ryan eat it?
Will Ryan allow us to continue this game?
Will Ryan turn out to be Hitler wearing a giant suit?

Jermdog, that was too funny!
Yes, we will be playing boatball tomorrow (5-20-09) at 6:00pm at the
West Fork City Park. If any one can bring an extra boat and gear it
would be great. A few people at the meeting last night said they
might come if they had gear to play in. Unfortantly, I'm short handed
in the boat department right now. I can however, bring an extra spary skirt,
paddle, life jacket, and helment.

I know I hit on this subject on my last post but seriously, I know most of us have a extra boat and gear. We all like having good numbers show up to play boatball. So grab some extra stuff like, life jackets, paddles, helmets, boats, and the essential gear to play boatball when you come.

This being said, if you want to play and you don't have the stuff to play. hopefully we can meet your needs.
See you there,
Ryan

I have Donald duty tomorrow so I can't paddle, but I can bring my Diesel and gear if someone needs it. The bulkhead is adjusted for my piano legs but I could probably jam it forward far enough to fit someone 5'8" or 5'9". I was planning on coming just to hang out and play with my son in the park so it's no problem. Just post back here anyone wants to borrow my boat so I know to bring it. Cheers!

I am planning on making it to boatball, having fun, and recruiting another person to help clean a section of the West Fork for the cleanup on June 13th.

If that person wants to claim a section, I don't care if you clean it ahead of the cleanup while there is water or whatever/however. That is how I plan to clean from 71 to Tilly Willy prolly next week.

Oh yes, if you do want to pick up that River Section, I promise I will not pick on you at boatball tonight :sinister:

Had a great turn out this afternoon with 11 people and five first timers. Thanks Tom and Dave for bringing extra gear, it came in handy.
Hope to see everyone next week.
