Next Monday the 18th at 6:30 we are going to have a NWark chapter meeting at Gusanos in Fayetteville on Hwy 16/Weddington Dr. which is 1 mile east of off I-540. Normally we have the meeting the last Monday of the month but since if falls on Memorial Day its getting moved to the 18th. We have a lot to talk about. I’m sure some of you know our President for the past 4+ years, Bill Herring is moving to Kansas City. This means we can look forward to much more rain but we also need to get new leadership. Bill’s teva’s will be tough to fill. We got two guys stepping up that love boating and have been very active in ACC and are ready for more. Ryan Center is running for President, Steve Runnels for Vice President. I’m planning on staying on as Treasurer and as the guy that sets up roll sessions. We have a lot of ideas going forward for continuing the momentum that Bill has built. We also want to hear what idea’s you have for the club, and if you have a good one don’t be surprised if you get volunteered. I hope to see you there.

Northwest chapter meeting Monday the 18th
Re: NWARK chapter meeting next monday 18th
I'm going to be there if at all possible to hand over the reigns and to say farewell (but not goodbye - I'm still a member of NW Chapter and my whitewater rivers and paddling buddies are still right here!). NW Chapter has simply been the finest group of people I've ever worked and played with - I've just mostly been a cheerleader, while so many folks have stepped up and made things happen! Can't wait to see what the future holds! (Maybe the new president will actually update the web site and write chapter reports for the Newsletter, unlike that last slacker!)

Re: Northwest chapter meeting Monday the 18th
Just wanted to say thanks for the turn out and support from all who came out tonight. I hope I can do a half as good as job as Fish did. Fish you did an excellent job, and wish you could have been there tonight to pass the reigns. There was over 40 people show up tonight and got to meet several new faces as well. Also want to say thanks to the all the people who said they where there to help when needed. I love the N.W. Chapter because we have several who are willing to volunteer their time to help out. I hope we can continue to move forward.
Also want to say a big thanks to Paddledog for having you as my wing man.
