By putting it in the "Announcements" section, we can PRETEND we're being up front, while in fact hiding the information in a section people apparently no longer look at! Again I say, GENIUS!

Gaining access to the Members' Section is easy. You follow the instructions in the post Cowper and Lifejacket linked to and then you wait. I'm not sure how long you have to wait.

Be prepared to wait for a long time. I sent my request so long ago that I had forgotten about it until some posts got moved the other day. And once you've submitted your request it will not let you resubmit it.
