Fayetteville City Council Meeting today, please attend!

I just got the note below from my friend Jim who watches these kinds of things. I cannot be there, but I wrote a note saying that we support lower user fees for paddle boaters on Lake Fayetteville. The fees were more than doubled a couple of years ago, and many members in the area have quit boating there as a result. If you can attend this meeting and just be counted as in favor of lowering fees, please do!

There is a city council meeting today at 4:30 at city hall in room 326. On the agenda is a proposed change in the boating fees at Lake Fayetteville. The change would allow non-motorized boats on the lake for 20 dollars a season or 3 dollars a day. If someone could speak in favor of this it would be great.
