NRS Motion Shorty Soft Shell?

I got the NRS payette jacket (http://www.nrsweb.com/shop/product.asp? ... &src=champ" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) this summer to keep the water out while I play and it sucks. The NRS Motion Shorty (http://www.nrsweb.com/shop/product.asp? ... 2-To-25651" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)looks like the thing I'd need for playing in hell hole for hours at a time. What I'm wondering is, with the fleece lining would I get really hot? I'm not looking for warmth at all, just to dump my boat less. Also any alternative brands to nrs, or any good deals would be appreciated, thanks!

I use a Level 6 semi-dry shortie for most my warm temperature boating and although it doesn't have any latex gaskets I think it does a pretty awesome job keeping water out of the boat, but not you exceptionally dry. Even though the top doesn't have latex gaskets the neoprene gaskets work pretty well, and the waist is much drier with their two tightener things.

Level 6 has gotten more pricey then I remember looking at their gear, but they are having a clearance on the tops I am talking about right now (still cost $90)...

I have an NRS Stampede shorty that I like which is a much lighter fabric that the Motion Jacket. It isn't strechy and doesn't have the fleecy lining. It has neoprene gaskets but they work pretty well around my fat neck and fat arms (not muscular, just fat). It's cool in the summer and keeps water out of the boat if you don't mind a few drops down your back.

I have I guess is what to be the long sleeve version of payette and the water comes through around the wrists neck and wast. I probably would have been beter off with just a hydroskin or somthing similar.

That's what I use...picked it up during a sale last year.

I've got a rage in wear shorty/skirt combo that is one piece and dry as fish's humor.
