Little Osage Creek near Highfill/Cave Springs in Benton Co

Anyone ever paddled this? Looks like a pretty little stream from the "dam" off Mill Dam Rd to the bridge on AR 264. Looks like a 3 mi trip through mostly farmland. Doesn't look like much whitewater. Maybe some log jams. I didn't see any fences across the streams, though.

I assume one would need landowner permission to put on & take off. What about along the stream, though? All streams are public in Arkansas once you're on the water, right?

we floated it last year... we put in, on the first road past the air port on the left , down about a mile on the left there was a small bridge you could park at ,and took out near chambersprings road bridge. and that was near old hwy 68... there was a huge log jamb all the way across and about ten ft. high near the end .that we all portaged. but it seemed to be a 5 to 7 mile float . the land owner at the put in said, not many people float it! (so make sure you file your float plan as a back- up)
