A BIG THANK YOU TO MANY OF YOU

I want to say a BIG THANK YOU for all that have helped my son and his family out with items and monies, and gift cards to assist them after their house burned down. Everyone has been so thoughtful and generous and my son and them appreciate all the help and your sacrifice to help them get a start again. They are slowly getting settled in another house in Benton as they moved here closer to us and his Little Rock job. His wife is now looking for another job. She has an English degree. Pray she will find a new job soon.

Karla, do they still need anything? If so, feel free to PM me and I will at the very least help you locate some stuff. We live in Benton also. Has the young lady with the dgree thought of UALR for employment. The state benefits are top notch overall.

Karla: Joe is right about checking UALR. My mother worked there for 5 yrs and actually got retirement from there, and it's the only one not drying up on her retirement checks!
And, kids get a break on college and believe me .... that is so worth it, now that I'll be paying another 6 yrs for college and Michelle has graduated!
Glad we could all help. The AR Canoe Club has awesome people!

Thanks Joe. They have some furniture now but still on the look out for dressers/chest of drawers. I will certainly mention that to Christyl about UALR. She is talking about more school. They went to Arkansas Tech in Russellville.
