Where did you find? I like the concept, though there may be times when it's hard to get the car backed up to a tent pad or smooth, level spot. Would appreciate more info if you have it.
Thanks.

At first glance it looks like a good idea but you will be better off with a stand alone tent. I have something similar and its not as great as one would think. Plus they cost a lot more than a stand alone.

I agree with both opinions. Finding a level spot in a rectangular shape like that might be tricky outside of a federal campground. The sleeve that attaches to the back of the car can be taken off, rendering it a stand alone tent. Granted, it is not as solid, nor as waterproof as some of the tents I have had, but I think it will work great for the family camping we plan on doing.

RJ, I live in Pea Ridge. If you are ever up this way give me a shout. The company that makes the tent is Napier. They also make the in-bed tents for trucks.

Here is my choice for a number of reasons. I like the fact that it is floorless. Camping on a cot on gravelbars is not a problem. If I am where I would like a floor I can use a cheap tarp or use the one they sell. I also use a rainfly.
If you catch the right sale you can find it for $150.

I got a Kelty carport. It has its good points but unless you plan to keep the vehicle parked the whole time its pretty impractical. BTW, I paid $69 not $270
