Yes! Main issue is willingness to leave it hooked up, and a set of keys with Jeremy in case a quick move is requested.

I be good with all that. I don't mind towing it either, but I'll need someone's assurance that it doesn't exceed my hitch's tow rating of 5k pounds. My insurance agent already answers my phone calls with "what have you done now?", so I'd hate to have to explain why my truck is at the bottom of the Ouachita river.

I will need to get my canoe to the put in somehow, but something tells me that won't be an issue. I can just lock the keys in there and text Jeremy the code to the door keypad, or I can try and remember to bring spare keys. Option one seems easier, but whatevs. I'm easy.

Duece,
you might hit up Jim K. for your canoe hauling. I think he mentioned bringing a trailer to haul extra boats to the put in. I know he has in years past.

Chris,
I am going to bring my trailer on Saturday and will be happy to take as many floaters and boats upstream
to the put-in as I can when I head up that way after lunch
Best Regards
Jim

I'm gonna move up the burger time to 11 since there seems to be quite a few who want to be at the ledge by noon.

Cowper and/or Jeremy, if time permits I'll check in here again before I head out tomorrow, but in case I don't you're welcome to call me at five01nine5one86threefive if you still need my help with the ROD. I don't really need to make any advance preparations, so last minute is no problemo. BTW, can I take my sixteen foot MR Explorer down that thing?

Pretty sure that would be the most interesting warranty claim Mad River ever rejected.

OK, so here's the known "EVENTS" for Surf and Turf:
RAMP OF DEATH
DOWNRIVER FLOATS
HOMEMADE BOAT REGATTA / RACE
FREE FOOD
COOL WATER SURFING with a Predicted high of 104 degrees (drysuit not required; in fact, that would be suicidal!)
BAD BEER "BEER-OFF" (So far the entries are my "Beer 30" brand, and Bryan and Aly Signorelli with their Walgreen "store brand". Both run about 49 cents per can. Don't even bother entering your upper-end beers like Busch Light, Bud Light, and Pabst Blue Ribbon.)
If you know of other things happening, add to the list.
If you don't, make one up that sounds fun and add it anyway.

I will not be there after all. Tables can go if someone can pick them up in Conway

What a fun day today! This was a good Surf & Turf, great lunch, float, and visiting. Thank you Tim for orchestrating the cookout, and to all my old and new friends for your company!
Best Regards

Kudos to TIm (chief burger flipper and dawg turner) good food, good friends (old and new), and good time on the river. Another great S&T. A great day even if it was HOT!

Let's do this again next year.
