Does anyone know if the Salado is running today, and if it will hold until tomorrow?

I live in Batesville. If I get a chance I'll slip down and look, but it'll be this afternoon. It usually falls out pretty fast. I'd love to do it with some other folks sometime.

I haven't run it, but it's definitely on my to-do list. I'd love to try it tom if it's up and holding.

As of Thursday (1-29-09), it was at ten stones. That would be about as low as you would want. On Friday, it was lower. If any kind of rain event comes in, it will be probably be there. If you will post the night before during the week, I can make it a point to stop and check the rock piling gauge.
