Good Weekend

Wow! That about sums it up for this past weekend in Arkansas. Bret and I headed out from San Marcos Wednesday night and got up there early early Thursday. We managed to get Crooked Creek, Little Mo Falls, and Lake Norrell Spillway Thursday. With the landslide out at Richland we got lost trying to get to the put-in, but found Falling Water and ran it at a low level Friday morning. Got to run Richland Creek Saturday at a low level as well, but still was major fun. Rolled into San Marcos about 3AM this morning.

It was nice to meet all of those that we did, and great to see everyone again. Can't thank everyone enough for their kindness and generosity that was shown towards us (especially the Bartons and James).

PS - Is there anything on Dare Creek? Just driving by on 27 (I think) just off the Northbound lane side of the bridge there was a 8-10' triple ledge drop that looked like it still had some decent water still Saturday afternoon. The drop itself wasn't anything special, but didn't know what else was on it or if anyone had messed with it before.

Glad you made it home ok. If the Dare Creek you are talking about is just north of Hector, no nothing else is on it. Dale
