Cadron Saturday 8/23

How freaky is this...I just decided not to paddle the Cadron today, Friday 8/22, because there's too much water...what bizarro world is this that there was too much water in August in Arkansas!!!

Anyway, I'd still be out there today if it wouldn't cost me personal time from work, but alas, since I'm trying to stay gainfully employed, I'll wait to paddle the good ol' Cadron on the weekend. Heck, if there's this much water in August, I might really want that personal time to paddle all kinds of goodies later this fall! :wink:

How about Saturday High Noon HWY 65 bridge? Any takers?

If there are any stragglers that can't make the noon float, please let me know or post. Due to out of town guests that do not appreciate the bounty of August rains, I can't be there until after 3P, 4P woud be ideal but can go a little earlier or later.

I wish I had some vacation left. I'm working the graveyard shift all weekend. I keep watching for jobs up there, but no luck yet. :(

Looks like Kate and I will join the crack'o noon gang tomorrow. Needed a good excuse to test Mike B's paddle anyway. :)

I'll be there with whatever members of my crew are up for the rare chance to paddle the Cadron in August, unless the level just get's crazy.
