Little Sugar Cleanup Saturday Sept 10

Friends of Little Sugar Creek will sponsor a cleanup of Little Sugar Creek on Saturday, Sept 10. We will meet at the Veterans Wall of Honor at the east end of the Lake Bella Vista dam at 10:00am and disperse from there upstream and downstream and on what remains of the lake (the gates have been open since the flood event severely damaged the dam last Dec 26). We plan to pick up trash downstream as far as Mercy Way, a good bit upstream, and possibly on McKissic Creek if we have sufficient turnout. The City of Bentoville will supply trash bags and two trailers for waste removal. A big thank you to the city! After the cleanup we will have a picnic either at the site or at Blowing Springs Park, compliments of FLSC. If you plan to come help, please post up so we can get the proper amount of food. Thank you! It should be fun! BTW: word is there are tires, a water heater, and hay rings involved in addition to the expected ordinary stuff.
