Hailstone Society proposed

Post by hollohead » Mon Apr 07, 2014 10:44 am

I have an awesome new 9.5 ft. raft that I bought specifically for the Hailstone and other Arkansas runs, I have paddled this raft down the Hailstone with just 2 people in the boat and it was big time fun. I live in Compton, and can go anytime I want. Problem is, I don't have anyone to go with me who has same freedom, and is close enough to get here quickly. I was wondering if there was anybody who lived in North Arkansas area who would be interested in running the Hailstone whenever it gets up? I have an ore rig, but it is more fun paddling with 2 or 3 people in the raft, and I want to go every time it comes up. Going in the raft makes it easy on old bones, but I love hanging out with the young crowd also. Anyone up for a Hailstone Society, all you have to do is show up, and I'll take care of the logistics.

Ah come on Roger, I may be close, but It's more frustrating cause I'm not getting to go. Not bragging, just want to go, and I'll make it easy for somebody to enjoy the Hailstone. :D

Let's take the raft down Osage Cr. Even closer to home.

Just call me when it's raining hard enough to run the creek! :)

Fish, the Osage was raging yesterday, perfect level, but no one ever comes to run it anymore. Kinda sad, i was hoping to watch folks from my back deck.
