How many animals were harmed in the making of that video? It looked like quite a few...

No animals were harmed. It was so hot, they wanted to take a swim!!! That lab is always there. He will go retrieve paddles, PFD's, and the beer(the best retriever ever!!!).

I can't say the same for any injuries sustained by the party animals, though.

I heard "beer cam" filming was somewhat painful; one young lady was bleeding profusely from her forehead after smacking the ledge during a face-first downstream swim; two others left in ambulances. Also noticed quite a few bleeding knees and shins, and of course, the obligatory lobster sunburns, although partial cloud cover during the day kept that to a lower than normal incidence rate.

I'm sure there were many other minor injuries we will never know about...

Some of those incidents did look painful. That would be a good "what not to do on the river" instructional video.
