Do we have a meeting tomorrow night? I had not seen a post yet - just curious.

I don't know if David has had time to scare up a program or not, but my take is that I don't go for the programs anyway.

I go to sit and chat with old friends, welcome new folks to the club, and share info about pool sessions, Rockport, and all the wonderful rivers and paddling opportunities we have if you just know 1) what you want and 2) where to look.

Drat, I have to go to work tonight anyway.

Renee, I don't think anyone has talked about canceling it but you. :)

As for programs, Renee, me, and other Central members who paddled Sunday can report on our trip down the Mighty Buffalo. :)

Yes there is a meeting, no there is not a program, at least not yet (4 hours to the deadline....). I totally spaced about the fact that tonight is the 4th Tuesday and was just getting on-line to post a call for programs.

I'd love SWR/water safety if someone could throw that together this fast, but I'd be more than willing to have a Buffalo trip report from this past weekend.

There are also a handful off busniess items I brought back from the Bored Meeting, but nothing time consuming.

Never said anything about canceling the meeting :poke: I probably can't make it anyway, but there were some inquiries, so I thought I would ask. Glad David cleared it all up.

Probably. It is just another one of the reasons all of us club members owe a debt of gratitude to those who volunteer to serve (er, I mean be elected) as officers.

It is work, sometimes hard work, it takes away from time on the river or spent taking care of life's many other things, and it usually costs the individual an not insignificant amount of money traveling to meetings or doing other things, the vast majority of which are NOT reimbursed from club funds.
