Caddo May 8th

Post by lalyle » Wed Apr 28, 2010 11:31 pm

Anyone interested in the Caddo on the 8th? I haven't even looked at levels to see if there's any hope, but I know we're due for rain before then. I'd be putting a beginner friend in my rec boat and I'd be in my Rampage. Also looking for a good deal on a second rec boat if anyone has one to sell and can let me test drive it that day.

Holla at ol' Surfdawg with any info or interest.

Lee,

If the Caddo is at a decent level most any weekend from now through June, when it usually gets too low for the Summer, I'll probably be floating it.
Well keep an eye on it for the 8th and I would only be too pleased to bring this 10' Dagger Approach rec/crossover boat we have so you can test drive it all day. Our boat isn't for sale but it would be a good one to try in case you might buy one later.
In the unikely event we can't join you all on that day, you're still welcome to stop by our place in Benton on the way to the Caddo and carry it with you. :)

Best Regards
Jim Moose

Yes as long as nothing better is running I will be there as well. Also, I am the one that bought the probe from Chester you commented on so you are more than welcome to try it.

Lee,

With the lower water levels on the Caddo at present we're probably headed to the Upper Ouachita tomorrow. We have been floating from a friends property about a mile or so above Dragover then on down through the Dragover section, about 4 1/2 mile float.
Let me know if you all would care to float along and if you would care to use a kayak.

Best Regards
Jim
